Payment Providers
I've been using just checkout.session.completed, but I read that the checkout could be completed and then payment could take a bit to go through. Or a fraud check can mark the checkout as completed but later fail, etc.
Is there an event you all use for one-time payments that is a sure fire guara...
Hey makers,
I'm thinking of using LS as the main payment provider. They have received my business details and everything looks good – i.e. I can use their features immediately. My question is: Is LS still reliable? I'd appreciate it if you could share your experience, good or bad.
Thanks in adv...
I'm trying to build a subscription with Stripe. But I noticed there are a lot of events. I hope someone more experienced would give me some pointers here because I don't want to overthink and overbuild
Here are the ones I'm keeping my eyes on. Are they sufficient?

Stripe Tax question
I'm currently in the process of figuring out how to do bookkeeping for my Stripe transactions
My accountant asked if it was possible to charge a default 21% Dutch tax for some transactions where Stripe Tax shows 0%
Is this possible?
Have any of you moved *from* LemonSqueezy to Stripe or Paddle?
How easy is the migration process for subscription payments?
I'm not going to move yet, but I want to know if it's possible without having to ask customers to re-input billing details.
I noticed Stripe, for example, has some basic...
I'm building the onboarding flow for simpleotp.com right now, and as a part of that I need to collect some details before I can activate a given user's account, such as which domain name(s) they want to use + some other basic profile information. I also need to know which plan they'd like to sign...
👋 Hi all, it's my first time asking a question here, all kinds of pointers are very welcome!
I'm slightly torn regarding how to implement pricing for https://useattr.actor:
On the one hand there's the bullet train Stripe integration, which would get me set up in minutes/hours. Using Stripe Tax,...
Hey there, I have an LLC in the USA. I am not a resident of USA.

Hey there, I'm Sole and I am having some issues with Stripe.
Our product (mapmelon.com) is a listing of accommodations, and we offer a monthly or yearly based subscription to be listed on it. We also offer a one-time payment service to promote events regarding those accommodations.

Hey there.
I am building a booking system where my users will have properties with accommodations. The guests will be charged when making a booking. I will implement stripe connect in order to charge the guests the booking price and then send the money to the users.

Hi everyone :) I'm about to roll out my current product in public in a few days.
I plan on charging for the product in USD, as that's seems like what all SaaS companies generally do.
My company is registered in Norway though, so I have up until now kept NOK as the Stripe currency.
Are there im...

Taxes around the globe
Hi! I'm reaching out because I'm thinking of bootstrapping a simple project or a few, but i don't have a background in accounting I'm not quite sure on what are the general requirements one has to meet in order to be able to sell SaaS subscriptions internationally?
I'm currently based in EU and ...
There are some products out there like recurly, chargebee and stripe has stripe billing, does anyone use any of those for subscription management?

Paddle or Stripe?
I've used Stripe on other projects, but it's kind of a hassle to deal with taxes and VAT yourself. I was thinking to use Paddle for RSSMailer.
Anyone has any opinions on Paddle or other suggestions?
Hello WIP do you know if it's possible to have a payment form hosted directly on Stripe? Or is it mandatory to have a website to host the form?
I'd like a link I can send by email to buy my product without any hosting/backend
The product I'm working on is not subscription based but still I would like to send invoices to my customers after they paid online.
I'm using Stripe.
Do you know how I could automatically send invoices by email, with Stripe or with a 3rd party solution?
Thanks :)
Do you open a new stripe account for every new project to keep them separate? Or is there a way to have one account but separate/organize them?

I think it's time for me to open my US bank account.
I work with US clients, sell stuff in USD, buy things in USD. I pay international transaction fees or conversion fees every time money moves. That's really sucks. Time to stop it.
I know a program where Japanese can open my Union Bank accoun...
