Launched Shipped!
I launched Shipped on Twitter. The launch got very good feedback from the community, with 350+ likes and 300+ bookmarks. I sold some licenses in the first 24 hours too.
Shiny New MacBook Pro arrived yesterday! I think I'm going to rock Cursor initially. Anyone got any go-to's for when they get a new Mac? (Realised I should have posted this as a questions rather than a To Do.)
I am currently building your tool, and turns out my small tool could actually be a full-blown product.ย  To give you a bit of a backstory and for you to understand what the product does when I design websites because I'm not an expert designer I like to take screenshots of other websites so that ...

Ok, hope this question doesn't waste anybody's time. I'm new here, and I come from a background of backend dev. And of course a maker needs fullstack skills. I just wanna understand how do you guys work with css. Do you use any framework? if so is there any you can recommend? Or do you create yo...
i've got 10000 emails in a mongo database. whats a simple way to email all these people. any app/site recommendations. looking for simplicity. obviously don't want my emails to end up in "promotions" or "junk" either, but that might be hard. thanks
Transaction emails like password resets, etc are generally handled by just having a template as part your code base and sending that through something like Sendgrid. But how do you deal with with one-off broadcasts like announcing a new product feature? Do you integrate it in your code base som...
I can't clearly say I've built something that people want before. All my products have flopped and I never really got much traffic, and I killed them I JUST GOT 2 USERS. People who I don't know! They saw my site, and signed up for my tool and are using it! This is a really big win for me. LFG.

This is sort of a followup on a previous question I wrote (link below). You don't have to read it, but it can provide some context. Otherwise jump to "The Q" below. https://wip.co/posts/do-you-ever-come-to-wip-wishing-you-could-post-something-other-than-a-project-update-todo-win-or-question-dk7...

https://wip.chat/products/993 (https://wipbadge.com) was launched today and currently supports connections to Github. But I'm curious what other services would be interesting? I've been looking into Trello and got a request for GitLab so those are in the works.
I feel like Trello is getting more and more bloated. What are the features that make Trello good, what do you actually use? - Simple Kanban - Add multiple boards - Add members to boards - What else?
Just made my first money yesterday, didn't even ask for it, which is a good sign I guess.
Hello everyone, Hope you guys are doing well, I have one question, currently i'm working as a security consultant. I earn 3k$ per month. But I want to go fulltime indie maker. I feel bored when i'm working on my job role. Its not like its hard. I can handle it. But i'm not getting that kick.ย  Al...
Confession: Tbh, Iโ€™m not proud Iโ€™ve not deployed new features for more than 1 year (since 21 Nov 2021).ย  The past 2 years had been a tough journey figuring out marketing for Lifelog, and the slow dawning that it wonโ€™t live up to my expectations as my one true SaaS to bring me to ramen profitabil...
I would love any feedback on the sales page for my new education product, the Rails Performance Workshop. I consider myself a novice at "sales letters". The Rails Performance Workshop consists of 4 weeks of classroom instruction and tutoring with Rails performance expert Nate Berkopec. You'll le...

I just got my first business customer for Nobinge's API! That's 29โ‚ฌ added to my MRR! For a reminder, my API allows businesses to transform their products using AI without any expertise in that field. Don't worry about which LLM is used, which provider (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Groq, OpenAI, et...

I'm thinking of building a hosted version of Doka Image Editor #doka - image (re)editing - uploading - hosting - linking As a developer I'm struggling to find reasons (apart from lacking dev skills) to go with a hosted service instead of purchasing the Doka SDK itself. So I'm looking for some o...
