Payment Providers
Hi all,
I am really curious, but if I would use Stripe as a solopreneur I would basically have to move over all my invoices to my accounting software and deal with tax on them, no?
This is the reason I am always thinking about merchant of records (even if partial, at least handling EU). Otherwi...
There are some products out there like recurly, chargebee and stripe has stripe billing, does anyone use any of those for subscription management?

Taxes around the globe
Hi! I'm reaching out because I'm thinking of bootstrapping a simple project or a few, but i don't have a background in accounting I'm not quite sure on what are the general requirements one has to meet in order to be able to sell SaaS subscriptions internationally?
I'm currently based in EU and ...
I'm considering changing up the product pricing and need to implement some subscription + metered usage. Polar seems to be built for this, but Stripe has been very reliable. Althought there's some DX gains with Polar, I'm wondering how the experience has been for others who might've switched. Esp...
I use Stripe to collect payments for my SaaS. Each month there are several payments that fail. Usually I get the code: "donothonor" so the bank of the user rejected the payment.
I am disturbed by the frequency. Anyone else experience this so much?
Also, how do you deal with this. Do you send a...
Have any of you moved *from* LemonSqueezy to Stripe or Paddle?
How easy is the migration process for subscription payments?
I'm not going to move yet, but I want to know if it's possible without having to ask customers to re-input billing details.
I noticed Stripe, for example, has some basic...
Hey makers,
I'm thinking of using LS as the main payment provider. They have received my business details and everything looks good – i.e. I can use their features immediately. My question is: Is LS still reliable? I'd appreciate it if you could share your experience, good or bad.
Thanks in adv...
I’m in the process of submitting my app to The App Squad and similar app distributors, and I’ve run into a limitation with Lemon Squeezy.
I use Lemon Squeezy to handle licenses in my app, which works well overall, but it does not allow generating licenses in bulk. Because of this, I can’t provide...

Paddle or Stripe?
I've used Stripe on other projects, but it's kind of a hassle to deal with taxes and VAT yourself. I was thinking to use Paddle for RSSMailer.
Anyone has any opinions on Paddle or other suggestions?
I am based in the UK. And while it is true that I am planning to launch my product in the UK first, I eventually gonna expand this globally. So should I charge my members in dollar or in pound?
I'm searching for the most reliable flow to do that outside the Mac App Store.
I've tried Paypal and not happy with it. Looking for stripe like experience.
Like Paypal just require knowing somebody's email and you can send them money. Anything similar that exists out there?
Do you open a new stripe account for every new project to keep them separate? Or is there a way to have one account but separate/organize them?
E.g. you have a subscription based SaaS but want to sell a one-month advertisement spot on your website.
If you do, what was your specific situation?
Disclaimer: I’m working on a product that allows this and am trying to find more use cases (and testers!)

Hi everyone :) I'm about to roll out my current product in public in a few days.
I plan on charging for the product in USD, as that's seems like what all SaaS companies generally do.
My company is registered in Norway though, so I have up until now kept NOK as the Stripe currency.
Are there im...
