Efficiently Managing Emails for a Wait-list

I'm setting up a wait-list form for an upcoming product launch. How should I effectively manage the influx of emails from interested customers? Has anyone experienced managing a wait-list before? How did you handle the emails and notify individuals about the product launch?

Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @peoray, I'm currently working on a no-code solution for doing exactly this. Once you have it ready, I would like to know how you have done it and what has been your experience. Thanks! :)

Carrd has this built-in and it's very cost effective: try.carrd.co/h89p5752

It can capture email signups from a form (no code) into Airtable or most other popular services, send them to your email, or do any custom action you want.

For notifying individuals, I like using software like Apollo.io to set up an email sequence after importing the users on the waitlist via CSV dump. This can also be done in HubSpot or any other CRM tool.

I would add them to my email newsletter and send out product updates occasionally, on a consistent basis, so people know that things are going, and they can or will remain excited about what you do.

Once a fortnight or once a month seems to be the ideal cadence for me since weekly updates are too often and I can’t get enough things done to warrant my own enthusiasm in an update.

I just used something like Brevo or Mailchimp, however I am now trying something new. I am using a simplified registration (just email) and create a real user accounts in the app. This way the users can always become real users, their email is already confirmed, etc. I am now trying this with PinnedJobs and I plan to send my own newsletter via Postmark marketing stream.
