Email Marketing

I'm choosing a solution to send emails from my app. I want to send a low volume of simple emails and I want it to be cheap and low complexity and low problem causing. Sending emails from your own app has IP reputation hassles but there are external services that look promising like mailgun, mailc...
I'm not technical whatsoever, and so far I've been using e-mail aliases from one Google Workspace account; however, I am not sure if this is the best way to manage email from and to my various domain names. Are there any recommendations you would have to handle this?
Scenario: you have <app> with 500 users registered user. You have their emails in your <app> database, as they used that when they signed up for your <app>.ย  You want to send out some marketing stuff and plan on doing it every once in a while. Do you: 1) query your own database and manually w...
Probably like yours, my inbox has been flooded by sales pitches from all kinds of companies, pitching with something COVID-19 related. "In this time of crisis we thought you might bee interested in our product X" or "because of the crisis we are giving all new customers an X% discount or X-months...
Sending emails to 500+ users is still terrifying to me, but I feel like many users don't realize how much we are building. How often do you send updates? Does it reactivate old users, is it appreciated by existing ones? Thanks!
I'm working on a new project for a "No code/Webflow" job board. So playing a bit with concepts in Canva I made these logos mostly for social media and marketing. https://twitter.com/idgm5/status/1236349217360302081 Any feedback would be awesome!

I think I might just go with capturing emails in Airtable and sending them out with SendGrid. Any better ideas? The more simple, the better.
I want to execute right now. But the execution of the idea would require me to sit even more in front of the computer (though Iโ€™m currently aiming at getting away from the machine more often). Itโ€™s a dilemma. How would you go about this? And what questions would you answer for yourself to iden...

Hi Guys! Recently our newsletter is been growing very rapidly. Eventhough the Spam reports are very low (below 1% according to beehiiv). Some of my friends told me that my newsletter ends up in the spam section (gmail) since 2 weeks. How can we battle this? Does anyone have the magic trick? I'v...
Over the years, my Gumroad audience has grown to 35K. Now, I'm exploring the optimal solution for cost-effective email sending, as Mailchimp proves to be too costly for my needs. I heard about amazon email service but it's scary for me to configure. But, I can give a try if anyone help me outย
I am a complete noob when it comes to email drip campaigns, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this. If so, what tools are you using? What kind of automations / triggers have you set up and how are they working out for you? Right now, I occasionally send out a manual email marke...

Transaction emails like password resets, etc are generally handled by just having a template as part your code base and sending that through something like Sendgrid. But how do you deal with with one-off broadcasts like announcing a new product feature? Do you integrate it in your code base som...
I made this newsletter app, it's had a few cycles - customers have bought it and helped improve it, and I myself use it too. But I never really got to push the sales massively cos the editor had some bugs, and I was learning how to build it whilst building it. Anyway, I got a really stable new...

My focus as an email copywriter and voiceover artist has recently shifted to nonprofits. Previously Iโ€™ve worked with indie makers and Iโ€™m still working with them. But in order to expand my clientele and to help out on other areas that I previously havenโ€™t considered, Iโ€™m currently collecting org...

Not that I assume I'll get anywhere near these numbers, but Mailchimp looks really expensive really quickly. What are folks using to capture and send emails for your personal blogs?
