iOS Wip.co client
I've just pushed another update to the WIP.co iOS app I'm working on. Join here; https://testflight.apple.com/join/wveCKGrt
I'm open to suggestions for what to add. And if anyone has any suggestions on how to deal with the Twitter API 500 post limit I'd love to hear it. (for now twitter api acce...
I want to execute right now.
But the execution of the idea would require me to sit even more in front of the computer (though I’m currently aiming at getting away from the machine more often).
It’s a dilemma.
How would you go about this? And what questions would you answer for yourself to iden...
how to migrate instance vm from google cloud to AWS ?
What's the preferred free tier of the cloud services right now?
More context: I need to run a basic web UI + API server (which could go to sleep if there's no traffic, but hopefully not!), a Postgres instance, and a constant background daemon.
It feels like a tough needle to thread.
I've made mistakes both launching too early with something that makes people go "eh, cool I guess", and building feature after feature and never pushing it out the door.
Curious to see how you all think through this and what your collective experiences ha...

Finished MVP & Started Dogfooding
It took almost 3 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum product for Vibes.so that I'm not embarrassed to market. As I built this product mostly from the need that I had myself - i started dogfooding it immediately and using it daily, I write stuff down that I do not like and try to fix ...
Using a free template called 'Random App' ... I would have thought this would have been a 1 minute edit... but with no coding background I don't know where to look.
I want three text books side by side each other listing 4-5 features each for a landing page and have the features looking like a l...

How do you make your logos unique?
I use https://vectr.com with different fonts & add some text shadows to it & export it using SVG.
Now that Vectr added ads & its irritated me, I've deleted it & switched to Sketch for making some cool logos 😜
WIP-er Scott B asked this question in the Telegram chat, so I jotted down a few ideas in response. Feel free to add your thoughts, as well.

I was wondering what is your 'Roasting' strategy in case you'd want to get a feedback on your product.

I have built an MVP in 7 days.
This project was a practice run for me, showcasing a case study where I take an idea and, within 7 days, develop it into a working MVP. We used a prototype, a landing page, and a finalized Core Offer.
By far, this is the fastest I've built a mini startup.
Do you know any public repositories that are good SaaS examples? I'd like to read through them to understand how they organize things, how they structure their routes and interface with their database, what they use, etc.
My preferred tech stack for the example would be Node.js (or Deno), a simp...
If there's some criteria you guys use to evaluate an idea, please share!
Hello,
We're working on jobboards.co website to create a super nice and very niched collection for Posting Jobs Site, the difference is that we're gathering very niche resources and not only websites but as well Facebook Groups, Telegram, Slack Etc.
Well, while doing this project we had multip...
I already built an MVP I built the MSI installer to package my python code together with my freelance developer. However, the installer is kinda buggy and it doesn't seem a good use of time if we have to learn how to build a proper installer ourselves. If I post a job on UpWork however, I am not ...
I am cold emailing some people, basically asking for money ($1,000 for 6 months upfront) to pay for a product I don't even have a prototype.
In 2019 we (wife and I) launched on HackerNews a job board focused on fighting the ageism in tech. It got massive response, #1 for 24 hours, featured on Th...
Good day,
I've been experimenting with low-code solutions, like jamstack, with some success. But would really love to give no-code approach try as well. I've been hearing too much about "validating a business without a single line of code" and it currently seems impossible - but I would like to...
