My focus as an email copywriter and voiceover artist has recently shifted to nonprofits. Previously I’ve worked with indie makers and I’m still working with them. But in order to expand my clientele and to help out on other areas that I previously haven’t considered, I’m currently collecting org...

Not that I assume I'll get anywhere near these numbers, but Mailchimp looks really expensive really quickly. What are folks using to capture and send emails for your personal blogs?

I often spin off side projects and I need to be able to send and receive emails from that domain (to look legit). I don't want to set up Gsuite until I know it's working.
I got a lot of spam newsletter signup from my website. Some website says I should use captcha. But I rather not using captcha both for user experience wise and design wise. I use Genesis eNewsletter Plugin, Wordpress, and Sendy. I setup double-opt-in for signup. So good point is that people r...

Hi everyone! As you may have seen in my updates, I am participating in the 30-day Newsletter Challenge organized by Indie WorldWide. I'm challenging myself to grow a newsletter focused on the software-as-a-service (SAAS) industry. SAAS Sunday is a weekly newsletter for founders and investors, p...
I made this newsletter app, it's had a few cycles - customers have bought it and helped improve it, and I myself use it too. But I never really got to push the sales massively cos the editor had some bugs, and I was learning how to build it whilst building it. Anyway, I got a really stable new...

Hi, fellow makers! I've a list of ~9k subscribers to my old Revue sporadic newsletter. But Twitter (Revue's operator) got acquired and Revue passed away. Most people seem to have moved away to Substack since then. But I don't like Substack: it makes me feel infoxicated and flooded with emails. ...

Would like to see what you guys use for email marketing. I'm gonna use it to sell digital product and provide automation service for my clients.  For now tested Convertkit / Mailchimp / Activecampaign and all of them pretty much get the job done.  Are there any criteria that I should know when ...
Hi! What's everyone using these days for creating custom html email newsletters? If you're sending a newsletter that goes beyond the standard text or drag and drop layouts offered on EDMs, would you mind sharing your set up?  I'm trying to figure out how I'll create my process to make it sustain...

I've looked at lots of CRM over the years and so many of them seem to be either a) overly complex and/or b) lock me in to their system (everything is ingested into their backend). Is there any kind of super simple CRM or even a CRM API where e.g. i can just bcc an address or every email i want t...
I'm looking for a good email service provider to send customer notifications, order and updates. There are so many options out there—Mailgun, SendGrid, etc.  What can you recommend to have some free emails to start a project and then pay as you go?  Are there any downsides or issues in some prov...
I've been struggling with what to choose. We've been using Mailchimp before. Now a friend told me that Sendgrid is way better and cheaper, but it feels more dev-oriented and suitable for larger companies. There are also some emarketing features in Lemonsqueezy. Another thing I'm considering is ...
For Blurt, I tried to cheat by simply sending images, but recently learned that some recipients do not have them properly displayed. 😕 I also want to start sending weekly emails with a summary of users' writing stats, but not sure how to format the HTML to have it display the data properly. Se...

Hi guys, What do you use for drip campaigns?  I'm using intercom for one project (I'm on legacy pricing on it). But I'm launching a new one and I'm looking for a cheaper solution. Just to some emails after signup, etc.
I am using node, express, and apollo graphql on backend. Sending beautiful emails is one of the core features of the project. Any recommendations on good node styling libraries would be really helpful.
