I have user constantly asking me to put my app(s) on AppSumo. I don't like it as it feels like a sellout and is not sustainable but am I missing anything here? Could there actually be an advantage (for indie makers)? Marketing wise or other?

What are you working on these days? I was searching for land to buy so that I could build a small cabin, grow vegetables, and have cute animals running around. However, the search for land has been frustrating. Most websites have horrible translations, and connecting with an agency is slow and t...

Right now the Shipping Streaks incentives people to ship every day. Shipping often is a good habit, but doing so for weeks in a row without rest is unhealthy. Some people log non-work activities, but that feels like a hack and leads to spammy todos. Maybe we can redesign the streak. It should s...
Currently streak emojis are 🔥 up to 99 days, and 🌶️ at 100+ I propose we introduce some new emojis as a nod of respect/appreciation 🔥 0-99 🌶️ 100-499 🚀 500-999 🐐 1000 + [image.png] Maybe some other higher contrast emojis would be better

Launched my first ever iOS/Android app a few weeks ago, and this morning we got our first honest to goodness app purchase. LETS GO! Onward and upward. [Image]
Going to Paris for a few days, I thought I'd try to contact some people shown on the map in the area: https://wip.co/makers/map Checking all 30 accounts I could find, I realized, a lot of them have become inactive, with no recent posts and deleted Telegram and Twitter accounts. That made the sea...

As pretty much everyone is aware by now GDPR comes into effect on May 25th, I'm working on my policy now and wondered if the WIP community could share how your Privacy Policies have been put together, how you've laid things out etc
There are 58 days left until the EU General Data Protection Regulation enforcement starts. Beneath that i am generally interested in rising the security of our web apps/sites.

Hey everyone, after 3 weeks of building I'm ready to start sharing Task Monkey.  Why I am starting this: People fall into 2 camps: 👉Using over-complicated and over-engineered task management apps 👉Using too many apps and can't keep track, are wasting time and generally confused. The end goal: T...
I'm trying to upgrade my workspace, and somehow some Apple products aren't in stock right now.
New milestone 😻 I reached 200 paying customers with a monthly ARPU of $37 for .  But my goal is 300 with an ARPU of $34. I crawl to $10K MRR however I can. But I can't imagine doing the same to reach, for example, $100K MRR. It will require something new, something I haven't done before.
