You can now turn off the link analytics in #btfy if you want to. Even though Btfy is privacy-focused already and only tracking what you need, this is if you just want to shorten a link for quick sharing and don't need to analyze the traffic.

Replacing the current stats system in #btfy for a v2. No external dependencies, no personal data in the database (previously was hashing IP). Now I only your collect Browser, Device Type, Country & Referrer, other data are disregarded. Will be releasing this weekend.
