What are you working on these days? Hi everyone - thanks so much for having me here! I'm wrapping up two client projects and getting to ready to go on a proper summer camping holiday with zero client work (first time in a decade!) but from September I'm going to be starting ten personal project...
I made this newsletter app, it's had a few cycles - customers have bought it and helped improve it, and I myself use it too. But I never really got to push the sales massively cos the editor had some bugs, and I was learning how to build it whilst building it. Anyway, I got a really stable new...

I am a complete noob when it comes to email drip campaigns, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this. If so, what tools are you using? What kind of automations / triggers have you set up and how are they working out for you? Right now, I occasionally send out a manual email marke...

This is a question I've been struggling with recently. For my current product (#printswarm ) I've given myself the following milestones: - โœ…1 week to hit the 10 "I'm interested" signups - done (got ~15-20 signups pre-launch although there's no revenue associated with these since it was just print...
Hey everyone, after 3 weeks of building I'm ready to start sharing Task Monkey.ย  Why I am starting this: People fall into 2 camps: ๐Ÿ‘‰Using over-complicated and over-engineered task management apps ๐Ÿ‘‰Using too many apps and can't keep track, are wasting time and generally confused. The end goal: T...
PrintSwarm is ready for business in New York City! If you're in NYC, would love to get some early feedback on the MVP. If you're outside of NYC, feel free to sign up using the feedback form at the bottom and let me know where you're located so I can consider your city for a launch. The link to s...

This is more a request than a question, I hope it's okay to post it here. I'd like to understand more about what tooling developers use to tackle common scenarios/tasks, and how much value they attribute to it. For this I've put up a short survey, should be doable in less than 10 minutes ๐Ÿ™. Tha...

How my TinyUI tweet ($25 service) resulted in getting our first $4,000/m PRO subscription for http://baked.design? People always ask me, why build so many projects? My answer to that is, why not? Build projects which complement each other and help promote your work in a unique way. That's what ...

Ideally with more of a community, maker vibe with some social events after work. A lot of them like WeWork are very corporate and don't host any events as big tech companies in NYC just use them for overflow space when they run out of space in their own office.
I've been working on manually formatting a client's manuscript for two days, and I had to redo aย whole lotย of formatting work to finally get it right. (Because I have zero experience, but an editing client asked me to format.) The table of contents wrecked me, though. It took about 9 hours, but ...

I crossed 300$ of revenue in just two months for a free product. My mind is blown. I'm surprised and I don't understand. But it seems it was a good decision to provide the app via Gumroad for free, with an option to pay. People have. And it feels good. I did some advertising on a deals site to p...
