Prefilled or manual code discount?
Everyone says a discount already applied at checkout converts better than a code.
Probably true, but it kills the little "I got a deal" moment of typing it in. I'm testing the opposite for our anniversary: code shown everywhere, typed at checkout.
Curious if anyone has actual numbers.

I am using a prefilled code,
I want to have fast and easy checkout as much as possible for the users
I have changed to that too, but I am skeptical..., has it worked fine for you?
I didn't make an A B testing for that so I can't tell for sure, but sale wise we got great conversion rates.
Fair enough.
I had good conversions since 2023, but I was thinking to make even frictionless...
Thank tou Asaf!
I never thought that there could be a significant difference, and you do raise a good point about the excitement a customer gets while typing it out
However, it is true that you want to remove as much friction as possible and get them to check out immediately.
Keep us updated on what happens.
Well, I had the discount manually for around 4 years, moved to in the the link then now I don't even use a code anymore.
The thing is that gamifying the discount is a thing, they feel like rewarded, means more to them...if the have copy the videos and so on, is like they had to do an effort to get it...
