Just got a $10 subscriber out of the blue, on an app I have not been working on for a while. I never had paying customers before, and this time it happened without any marketing whatsoever. After googling the name / email, they seem to have an AI generated slop webshop with fake pictures, and an obviously fake AI-made LinkedIn profile picture. They paid with Apple Pay, but don't seem to be using the app at all.

This all seems suspicious to me, I don't get why would anyone pay real money on a recurring basis if this is some kind of fraud.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance.
