Hey all, I'll be in Malaga the coming 3 months. Would love to meet up with anyone doing anything cool. Short intro about me: I'm indiehacking but because I feel success is mainly based on knowing marketing and don't, I resorted to stock trading. I know that very well though and approaching 15...

Hey, I’ve been nomading a fair bit this year and wondering what a good SIM for nomads are?  Most UK SIMs cap the number of days you’re allowed to be outside of the country.
Hey - leaving Stockholm for Porto in a couple of days. Anyone here got any tips on where to live?  Also, shout if you're around in the area :)

With woke San Francisco now going AI-hostile, which country/state would you say is the most AI friendly in the entire world? Could we be seeing a "Free-AI" zone?

I’m moving away from serverless to a more ”old-school” type of stack, mainly because I want to have full control.  I was thinking of using IONOS - any views?  This will be very key for my services so want to make sure whatever I get is good enough.
Hey all,  Finally, I am making my move and some people here were influential in the final decision to go to Phuket / Thailand first.  Which neighbourhoods should I look at, if these are my requirements:  a) Avoid flooding. Last year in September Phuket had some flooding. Which areas are best t...
Every week, Google de-indexes a couple of my pages on a website I run. The websites have no redundant content, they don't use any copyrighted material, etc, etc. When checking in Google Search Console, the websites come out as indexable. When running a crawl on Ahrefs to see health and quality ...

I read screen scripts. Sometimes to remember a quote, or to understand a complicated story better. The first script I ever read was Matrix, probably 20 years ago.  So I created a website, which I hope will be the IMDB of screen scripts. I intend to collect scripts from movies, plays, tv-series, ...

On every website I build, Chrome is unable to to detect reader mode. I've looked at all other websites, for which Chrome does show reader mode, and I haven't be able to understand what makes Chrome detect the main content. Any advice? [Screenshot 2024-03-26 at 03.58.44.png]

Hey all,  I've been exploring lots of destinations for a while and currently quite set on Thailand. Any ideas how long European Passport Holders are allowed to stay in the country?
I made some suggestions about how to keep ProductHunt healthy. I received a bunch of irrelevant answers from ChatGPT bots about how to "keep my body healthy". I think ProductHunt is about to implode. [Screenshot 2024-02-28 at 15.46.50.png]
Besides TypeSense, what other Algolia alternatives do you recommend? Also, InstantSearch.js alternatives welcome to be namedropped.

Hey all, There is already a product, it is liked by the community and used by a lot of people. And the guy who made it is a really nice guy. But you had this idea as well, long ago. You just never did anything about it, but you think you can do it much better. At least parts of it. And your bu...

Hey all,  I've been grinding for a while now, started to get some products going in stealth, more to come and sooner rather than later ready for PH launches. But before I do, I'd love to make some more friends in the community.  I was wondering if anyone was up for an online poker night if I so...

I use OpenAI Whisper to transcribe voice to text - but I would appreciate if the software could identify and group comments by different voices. Is there any software allowing to identify voices?

Hey, if you can only choose one, DaisyUI or Flowbite? And why? Also, if I use both in, will it make my page heavy or does the library only include classes I actually use? My underlying framework is AstroJS.

Hey,  I'm considering to buy a Mac Studio - anyone here used it to run LLMs locally?  It comes at a high price tag so don't want to buy it and regret my purchase.

I'm getting really annoyed with Starling Bank. They've had quite poor customer service for a while now - outsourced to cheap labour abroad.  I've been with them for two years and initially they were super! What should I use instead?
I've always hated Discord but recently it has improved so much with regards to UX. Telegram and WhatsApp could never compete with it wrt threading and community feeling.  The question is, is Discord's bot capabilities as extensive as Telegram / WhatsApp?  Feedback welcome, thank you all.

Hey all,  I'm keen on joining an indie hacker collective. Rent a flat for like 3-6 months somewhere nice, like Spain, and keep building products.  Would anyone be interested to do this?

I recently bought and finished reading Refactoring UI, the book by the Tailwind maintainers. I've now started using Tailwind for all my projects, and the question I have is if you also recommend Flowbite?
