Question
Is ProductHunt past its prime?
I made some suggestions about how to keep ProductHunt healthy. I received a bunch of irrelevant answers from ChatGPT bots about how to "keep my body healthy".
I think ProductHunt is about to implode.

Yes, PH is full of bots and not that great of a site anymore. I use them as a high quality backlink when I launch there and that's about it
Hahaha, my thought exactly.
Btw. I bought screenscripts.com for 1.5k USD a few weeks ago. Turns out the old site had backlinks from Variety.com from 20 years ago. Overall it had 50+ backlinks on day one. I guess that proves the value of buying pre-used domains.
Yes, PH is in free fall since a few years ago
@rameerez Do you have any suggestions for alternatives?
nope, sorry
@siavoshzarrasvand I found these two links. It'd be interesting to explore these alternatives to test viability.
graygrids.com/blog/product-hu…
www.producthunt.com/products/…
That list is quite dope, if anything just for backlinks...
Hackernews, Capterra and Betalist are so skewed.
Your chance to get high visibility is so low. Or you will have to link or pay an investor, influencer or an india or pakistan guy using fake accounts to upvote your listing. So sad...
I haven't done research on each site yet, so that's really good to know! Thanks, @laurent!
