slept super long (10 hours) but body needed it so I gave it to home, did my usual walk of 1.8km, did priming (my meditation), brain-dumped my most recent thoughts and can start the day with a fairly clear mind. #health

Only got ~6hrs of sleep, so try taking 120mg of lycopene...emailed back the WorkTime rep b/c their software isn't tracking any activity, it's crazy for it to be so broken in such a basic way...ask on Upwork forums if identity verification ever needs to happen again...created a Jira board for managing studying system design...started a pastebin system for rehearsing basic system design patterns daily b/c that's been working well for studying DSAs...feeling anxiety today, presumably from all the caffeine yesterday, so I'm going to take some Caffeine+ capsules to see if the extra vitamins in it makes the anxiety go away...run the Algolia HN API request that I found in the hnjobs repo in Postman as a first step towards grabbing those jobs myself...spent 30 minutes feeling anxious about what the next step should be, thinking I should set up the backend pulling jobs, before changing my mind and deciding I want to be able to use a frontend UI to connect my email address and then press a button to have the backend send an Gmail email for me...
Wasn't feeling productive yesterday b/c I hadn't gotten enough sleep the night before, so I stopped trying to work after 1 coffee and 1 Caffeine+, told myself to focus on getting to bed on time, slept well last night (~9-10hrs), and I'm feeling good today. Just took a Caffeine+ to start the day and set my timer for 90 mins until I'll have a coffee or tea.
It's amazing how much more energized I feel when it's sunny. Absolutely crushing my Monday morning work backlog.

Found a potentially-superior caffeine regimen of 1 coffee upon waking, then (some hours later) a 50mg "Caffeine+" pill that has additional vitamins and amino acids that caffeine apparently drains from the body (L-Theanine, L-Tyrosine, and B-vitamins), then a second coffee later.
Batch one and two of a huge pile of email responses done with fresh Iranian food and three cups of a new black tea from the market this morning direct from the family, which was surprisingly delicious as I'm not normal huge on black tea #creativity
Did a full Pieter-style workday, 2 coffees, 2 caffeine pills, >300mg caffeine, ~9hrs, now going for a massage b/c my back hurts and I feel exhausted. IDK if I could keep this pace up for a year or more.
Yesterday had two glasses of gin and slept like a baby, and I feel wonderful. Usually I don't drink alcohol but gin is like a medicine to me 😂
I took some melatonin every night this week, and it doesn't necessarily help me with my sleeping, but I fell way LESS tired during the day.....
