I am so lost on X. Nothing I try seems to work, and every single post gets like 4 views and nothing.
The algorithm has changed a lot lately. What should I try to do next year to get more reach?

I have built an MVP in 7 days.
This project was a practice run for me, showcasing a case study where I take an idea and, within 7 days, develop it into a working MVP. We used a prototype, a landing page, and a finalized Core Offer.
By far, this is the fastest I've built a mini startup.
I feel uncomfortable sharing this, because it feels like failure, but here goes:
I haven't gotten a new paying user in forever with Blog Recorder. MRR has been on the decline for a while.
And it's been like this for months. Nothing I tried has worked.

I am developing an app to improve French grammar. I have a landing page whose purpose is to redirect users to app stores or to the web registration form.
Current stats:
- 10.1% of visitors click on one of the CTAs linking to the app stores/web registration
- 80% bounce rate

Tailstream is the most ambitious project I have started building so far, but I am also considering on pulling the plug on it. Why?
• - The initial trigger was this post by Yongfook
• - Pretty much zero traction
• - Visualisation alone is not a painkiller people want to spend $$$ on
• - Log ...

I have built a freebie for you guys.
A clock that you can insert into Notion or your website in case you want to go all in. And a reminder of how much time you have to make it before you go bankrupt.
I've just pushed an optimisation update to the WIP.co iOS app. Join here; https://testflight.apple.com/join/wveCKGrt
Suggestions welcome btw, I'll be updating some UI/UX soon, and I should have crossposting to threads soon.
I'm planning to add support for pretty much all apple platforms,. excep...

Launched at Burning Man
Built during burn week culminating with our extended camp during a big deployment push on the night of the burn. Folks were present with each other and offline of the public internet. A very memorable night https://totemgrid.io/dry-run/
Masala Parser is an open source project, I will release the v2 for my birthday, on 19th.
I'm not used at all in making video, I tried to make it as good as possible.
I can't change my accent, and I guess nobody cares about parsing, so at least I talk about tennis 🎾 😅
But is there a real probl...
While I enjoy the motivating nature of posting a finished to-do every day, including a streak leaderboard, I value the exchange between indie hackers more.
That includes comments on posts and even more so the "Discuss" feature, and it's post: https://wip.co/posts

Direct competitor followed me on X - ignore, follow back, remove as follower, and/or block?
My general thought is just to ignore, and start to be a little more careful about posting revenue numbers, growth, new features before they're launched, etc.
How would you handle it?
I built a custom marketing portal to launch my product’s affiliate program, but I’m not sure how to promote it. Are there any go-to places or strategies for that? It’s my first time doing this, so I’m kind of YOLO-ing it. Any tips are welcome!
I created 50 AI-generated videos to promote my French learning app (francaisavecmarcel.fr). Here’s the result 👇
🎯 TikTok:
→ Fast visibility but low long-term engagement (40 views/follower). Growth curve is flattening.
🎯 Instagram:

What self-hosted tools do you use?
Do you self-host anything? What tools or products? Comfortable running your own stack - or still feels intimidating?
As for me, I self-host Plausible and my own tool, #telebugs. Curious how others use self-hosted stuff to ship better software.
Do you use automated error tracking like Sentry? Or maybe a self-written tool, like logging errors to Telegram? Basically, what’s your way of knowing about bugs in your apps?
“I’m curious what you’re working on and how you monetize it. Just looking to learn from fellow self-hosted builders.”
Lately, I've been searching for a design system for my project and found Chakra UI, which provides a Figma file with all the components and a React component library, so it saves me a lot of effort when building a layout. I’m curious what other people use as their design system when making new pr...

Pivot to a different domain name
I think missed the hype around vibe coding and many people read it too literally so might have problem to convince devs to join, so will pivot to aicodingforum.com domain
I'm considering changing up the product pricing and need to implement some subscription + metered usage. Polar seems to be built for this, but Stripe has been very reliable. Althought there's some DX gains with Polar, I'm wondering how the experience has been for others who might've switched. Esp...
OpenAI Dev Day launched the ChatGPT app connections. But I'm having trouble finding out where to locate the docs.
Has anyone found out about it? And even more so Get started to work on an app themselves here?
Thanks!
