What made you from vc to building solo?

I had a look at the landing page and I don't get it. Who is it for?

can't tell if it is for cooks, content creators or the regular joe

agreed, even though pinging jrfarr on x seems to work

i only use LS in one of my products (#ubidrop) for the license situation i mentioned.

for anything else I use stripe

the good:
- great for setting up simple checkout pages
- great for selling digital products (courses, books, etc)
- great for apps that need licenses (u dont need backend)
- nice design w/o effort

the bad:
- api/docs is confusing
- creating discounts is too complex for some reason
- people do not see the final price when they land on the checkout; could be problematic depending on your strategy

Building something from scratch takes tons of time and energy. Maintainance is easy

Marc, you can even use this as an opportunity for people to share around their 'achievements' of the week.

What do you mean by friendly to post?

All subreddits are unless you are trying to do promotional stuff/spam.

Are you looking for founder communities or a way to promote products?

as u aware that there are other ways of submitting apps other than the bot?

there's the website, mac os app and i think some sort of raycast extension.

i havent had any issues with the bot so it might be a method issue than ux
