Not that I assume I'll get anywhere near these numbers, but Mailchimp looks really expensive really quickly. What are folks using to capture and send emails for your personal blogs?

Before launch, to find bugs or validate wording. Have you tried www.betabound.com or other communities? The first customers could be difficult to acquire. Do you think they should be beta testers?

I guess I can go with Stripe but I will like to minimize my fees. Also, most Indians (95%) don't have credit cards so I am not sure about going with Stripe. Razorpay requires a business registration which I don't have right now. UPDATE - Stripe doesn't work for Indian businesses.
