SEO Kickstarter: created overview page where you can enter many domains which you want to kickstart. Created navigation from overview to per-domain backlink opportunities
fixed registration flow: for some reason nextJS sent the registration call twice and I found no way to avoid that. Now the backend has a logic which detects this and just ignores 🤷♂️
My wife is away for 4-6 weeks - organized cleaning person, washed the clothes, helped my daughter install some things in her room #life
finishing stripe -> user creation flow. My wife is out of house for a few weeks and I'm alone with the kids - less time for building. But at least 1 commit per day!
implementing stripe -> user creation flow. Claude was confident that I can create an anon user on Firebase and then merge it with another user - but there is no such thing 🙂
Figured out to tie registration form with stripe payment (thanks @daniel_nguyenx for the tip)
adding auth to my SEO Kickstarter app. Srsly: auth is still the most broken thing on web dev 🤯️️️️️️
turning my SEO Kickstarter notion guide into webapp - frontend is ready (used v0 for first version), working on backend now
started turning my notion product into a webapp - to allow for updating the descriptions after customers have started with their backlink work and to allow more sorting/filtering capabilities
fixed bugs in the "NoIndex checker" - one bug was suuuper embarassing and only because I didn't review the backend code claude has creaated 😅
Released "NoIndex Checker" - a mini tool, developed 95% with AI:
v0 for building the frontend (using tailwindUI components)
cursor/claude for the backend (super smooth)
Dan Kulkovs blog post generator for the text "around" the tool
Result: backl.io/blog/indexable
watch excellent video about AI programming - v0, cursor, cursor directory, how to plan a project, etc. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqUQb…
playing with v0 - looks like I was living under a rock, never heard of it before
tested Dan Kulkovs blog post generator - he's creating a good product over there! Still some bugs to iron out but great potential. Here's the article I created (I gave it a tweet as input): backl.io/blog/subdomains-vs-s…
relaxing on the balcony after a intensive 9-5 offsite week #life
installed 2 toilet seats, a telephone and 1 lamp #life
migrated my blog from blog.backl.io to backl.io/blog
while all my 9-5 colleagues are sleeping in the bus on the way home I'm indiehacking
