Maker profiles now show "ghost streaks" which is the maker's personal record. The name "ghost streak" refers to the fact that the streak is now dead, and the "ghost cars" you sometimes see in racing games where you can compete to your former self.
If you don't see a ghost streak that means the current streak is the highest.
I've chosen to only show this ghost streak on the maker's profile rather than across the whole website (e.g. here in the Q&A) as I feel it's not as important as the current streak. Plus I don't want to clog up the UI too much.
I might add a pop-over cards later so you can quickly get more information on any maker by hovering. The ghost streak could be included there. I will probably also add a separate leaderboard later too.
@marcantoinefon I just write my html/css (or haml/sass to be specific) as I go along. Any design similarities between WIP and BetaList are just my unoriginality in design choices haha. Not reusing any stylesheets.
Good question! There's no good place yet, but feel free to message me directly on Telegram anytime. If I'm active in the group you can put it there for discussion too.
You can also post feedback in this thread, but since there's no comment threading or notifications for @mentions yet it can be hard to have a productive discussion here.
Right now only the owner of a product can tag a question. The reason is that product hashtags are scoped to the user. That way different people can use the same hashtag without a problem. Useful when using abbreviations and acronyms.
I might make these hashtags system-wide and/or allow you to manually attach a product to a question.
For new users show your best content (top likes/responses or manually curated). For returning users show fresh content. You can set a cookie to check.
Maybe make it manually filterable too like the questions here. With an option to see popular scenarios, unanswered ones, etc.
I've heard some people had success by registering a trademark and then filing a trademark infringement complaint. I've also read stories debunking that this works. They say it only works if the account is actively impersonating your brand.
I'm not sure what to believe, but it might be worth a shot depending on your situation.
