Although I think this is a nice feature, it also sounds as just something to spark resentment. If your product was copied and then this matched someone who unlocked your product, then what?
Also, this might inspire people to create cryptic / misleading content to just get unlocks as we see all over the internet with people's ways to get views/likes/shares.
I never had someone that copied my idea, so can’t really reason about that aspect.

After launching, make every todo public, ask AI to write a 'how I built <product> blog' based on todo's, their sequence and completion date.

I’m not a big fan of changing many routines at the same time, but there are a couple of things going on:
- I stopped drinking anything other than water, tea and coffee. I really don’t know why but it helps in decision making and also drinking less alcohol (would drink ~5 units a week). Saves money on drinks too, lol.
- I bought 2,5kgs of whey again to start my day the same every day: heat 75gr of oats and 200ml milk in microwave and add scoop of whey to start day with a filling combination of fibre and protein. Easy, simple, nutritious.
- Since my daughter was born in february I have taken many more walks than I used to. It’s great, even in Dutch fall/winter weather (grey/rain). Clears the mind, light exposure, quality time with baby, time off-screen. I’m looking forward to my walk every day, even though I live in a boring neighbourhood.
I now only try/choose habits that increase my presence as a father and/or decrease anxiety.
There are two schools of thought:
1) save money in your regular job to help start being a maker
2) quit and be a maker and than you have to make money
If you have to choose, choose being a maker.
I always wanted to be a maker. But I'm also scared sometimes. Because I don't know how to survive until I start making money.

I've always 'liked' working ~20 hrs a week for a company and the rest of the time on my own projects. Not because a regular job is nice, but it helps to stay in touch with normie world and it's nice to have colleagues. It leaves plenty of time to pursue my own projects plus with the income of the 20 hrs I can pay all my bills. This way I don't have to stress about making money and I can do whatever I want on the side.
You might want to consider this option instead of choosing either a full time job or being an indie maker.
@jelmerdeboer thanks for the reply. With my current job, I have to work 40hrs. And I don't think they will agree If I want to work only for 20hrs.

I block websites as well. Especially news websites were a real anxiety booster. Since five months I have not read/watched/listened to news and it’s so nice I never want to go back.
What really helps to focus though are walks as well as strength trainings without bringing a phone. Keeps the mind clear of distractions and I’m really able to process thoughts I can force into action later.
About being productive: I try to slice tasks into manageable pieces. For example when I’m writing a blog post or book chapter, it’s split between draft, editing, polishing, publishing and promoting.
On keeping a clear mind while working: I tend to write stuff that pops up into my mind on post-its to be sure I will look after them later and keep working on whatever was interrupted.
Are there no cases where you might yourself be interested in a topic and browse for books? Or read something and want to learn more about the topic or from the author? Only recommended by others?
Had to think about it, but no. I think the reason is that I'm not a reader just yet. I'm trying to build this habit. So if I buy a book, then it had to cross my way a couple of times before. For all the info that I'm interested in, I usually use Google and YouTube to get insights into the topic.
