Start hearing a high pitched noise and at first think it was my tinnitus but scan the room with a live spectrogram app until I found the offending frequency source — apparently the toaster in this Airbnb makes a barely audible ~3.7kHz tone when in operation, plus its harmonics at ~7.5kHz, 15kHz etc. The closest 12-TET note would probably be A# (3.729Hz) #autism
