Alright, posts moved to the Ghost blog by hand (it was easy, Ghost seems pretty simple). And as my old blog was hosted in github I've done the redirections using cloudflare and everything is working smoothly 🤗 #remotemontes

💭 thinking about moving several websites off of GitHub Pages and on to CloudFlare Pages to get more control of redirects

#blogging Push blog to GitHub, so I can safely refactor in a different branch

(continuation from last night) I set up a new DO box so I can basically serve an infinite number of static websites from for $5 a month. GitHub Pages have served me well but Cloudflare charge $20 or $30 to add more redirects (annoying) and GH's terms are for-profit friendly

published my linktree-clone to one of my .dev domains

Installed Ghost for remotemontes.com in my server and started migrating posts from my old github hosted blog #remotemontes

setup jekyll page #ronblog

built up a proxy for one of my websites to fall back on a static copy (using Jekyll to start) so that I don't break any pages or anything that won't be obvious.

start shifting personal site back to WP #ekh
