Hey Marc,
I think you could grow Caption Cat audience on Twitter.
My suggestions:
- Ask to auto follow Caption Cat twitter account when people sign up.
- Add a checkbox under the caption input for instant sharing
- Share the best caption of the day on twitter (IMG + CAPTION (optional: + @ the twitter handle)
- Reply with the Caption Cat post url when the source article is tweeted (ex: twitter.com/cnnsport/status/1… - "Hey, add your caption here 👉 caption cat post url ")
Create two different bots with Bot Father, the first (A) runs on localhost and the second (B) runs on my server, they scan and handle the same telegram activity. I push a new version of A with the B token on the remote instance when it's necessary.
(A) runs on localhost
Are you using a webhook or polling?
I think what made me the most anxious was the feeling of not being supported by a part of my family or despised by friends who don’t understand what I’m doing. I avoid as much as possible the people who project their anxieties on me.
My remedies:
- Mute toxic people
- Find caring people with whom you can advance (not necessarily shippers)
- Take time to take a break and get some fresh air
- Help others when you can do it
Muting/ignoring toxic people has been a game changer for me just to live better and happier, but also lowering stress levels. Great tip for everyone. Sometimes is hard, but cutting off toxic people really pays off. That "anxiety projection"... I 100% feel you bro. Thanks for sharing.
Be more active on Twitter will help a lot. Write or share something that help other people on blog posts or Medium and add a message at the bottom "You can follow me here" will give you more visibility. Also don't stay focused only on makers/entrepreneurs, Twitter is like a huge chatroom, it's the opportunity to talk with people from different backgrounds and you can bring your point of view. Other thing, follow more people. You have to find your own community in this big space, some famous accounts follow nobody because at a certain point too much interactions can be hard to manage, I only follow people with whom I already spoke or when I like their work (it could be science, art, code, etc). Try to do what you do on WIP with Twitter and don't be worried if people sometimes don't answer, some people have not yet got into the habit of living in a world where the degrees of separation are so low.
