Just noticed the screenshot haha! I haven't encountered that error myself though.

For me it's not working properly as well. Sometimes seems to be fine but other time I saw on my profile some activity but any notifications. Only when I clicked on the page then they showed up.

Do you mean that the red badge doesn't always show? Or is something else going wrong?

I don't know if you're familiar with micro.blog but it's an excellent direction for WIP to expand on the blogging area. Launching a personal blog is cool, but you know that you starting with zero traffic. Knowing that your content will be seen by an active community of like-minded people makes a big difference! If WIP had a similar setup, I would start drafting my first post on how WIP has impacted my life in the next five minutes. I truly believe that not only would this approach convert users into paying customers, but it would also significantly boost platform exposure. Not to mention SEO. If you need any support with UI/UX or growth hacking, I'm eager to help!

Imagine: marc.wip.co, szymon.wip.co, lis.wip.co, paul.wip.co... for me it's a solid idea! 😊

I think that a todo as a post makes sense. It's quite common for task managers to have a title for the task and a description, then you decide if you use only the title or both.

Thanks, Daniel! I can't wait to read your posts here, free from the worry that Twitter crowds might make you second-guess sharing your experiences with the world.

I think cloning Milestones to Posts could be the best approach. The longer I think about it, the more I like the idea that WIP is a kind of micro (or not) blogging platform centered around our projects.

Thanks for the update! Since we can post updates via Telegram and streaks are secured then in my opinion keep working on the new setup to make it stable. I have no problem with some downtimes if there is a chance that the speed is better while your costs are cut down.

Appreciate that! Yes, the Telegram bot is a nice backup option for those that use it.

Yes, use debugger every time you want to update it.

When I want to share the url on Facebook though it still shows me the picture I uploaded yesterday. It has to be cached on Facebook. Probably need to give it a couple of days. I also added og:image:width and og:image:height, hopefully that helps with the blurriness.

Use the query string trick of adding ?asdf or something to the URL of your image and they should re-fetching the newer image.

Smart strategy might be building a website that's valuable in itself, in case if the original idea doesn't work out. Think of becoming a go-to resource site that you can eventually monetize through sponsorships, affiliate link or info products. Anyway that's my way of thinking behind making any website.

If you believe SEO isn't dead yet ;) then getting a .com domain is key for driving traffic. It’s also important to mention that you've got to dive into the SEO game with a smart site structure and lots of pages aiming to rank for a whole bunch of keywords.

I'm not sure what I feel about SEOs state of affairs lately, but this is a good answer! I've learned with my latest site that pre-planning site structure initially is worth it!
