Nice page! Some general feedback:

  • I'm not aware of normal pricing for eBooks but this seems expensive
  • The demo video is good, I'd put it higher up the page
  • You don't have a CTA to buy the book in the header of the page
  • Add some reviews from readers

Good luck!

Fantastic feedback, thanks!

Yeah, I am still playing around with the price. I was planning to sell it as a package with a calculator, but you might be right; if the person wants just an eBook, it's quite a steep price to pay. Maybe I need to create two bundles: just a book and another with a calculator, future updates, etc.

Will add other things, thanks!

Interested! Will DM you as I freelance in the space currently πŸ‘

Welcome, cool story! What was your exit out of interest?

Yogi looks cool, have you played around with downdogapp.com, I really like their programmatic lesson generator.

Crypto projects that I had worked on. I'd rather keep which specific projects personal though.

And no I hadn't, I like the UI for how it puts the classes together. However, My Yogi is more focused on managing Yoga Sequences for instructors. A place for them to keep their notes, cues, breath counts etc.

I don't actually do yoga, it was for my wife :)

Welcome! I'm heading to Japan for 10 weeks from November, if you'd like help with content πŸ‘

Thank you @revcd. I'll be deffinitely an interested person to have your quote about Japan destination and your experience there. We may even cross paths in Japan.

No problem! Up for a coffee, when are you there?

Nice work, have seen this done via a Google Sheet normally. This looks to add enough added value in comparison that users would make the switch πŸ‘

Thanks for sharing! Some general feedback from me:

  • I would start the app with a set of onboarding screens that the user swipes through that explains what the app does and how it provides value
  • Currently you jump straight in to login/register, which will reduce % of users creating an account
  • Given this is a prototype, my main piece of feedback is that the MVP is too large, I'd reduce this down in terms of functionality, and see if you could test if this idea is "sticky" via a website first, which would be far quicker to build
  • The Tinder style name suggestions is a cool idea, I'd personally explore that further, and make that the core of the experience, then think about expanding to voting deadlines, inviting friends etc when/if customers feedback

Hey @revcd πŸ˜ƒ awesome feedback, thank you for taking the time to write this.

The onboarding screens are a great idea. That will probably be next in my to do list.

For the scope of the MVP, I also agree but because I need those features for my friends & family to help me choose my future baby's name I'll still go through it πŸ˜„ In my last job this would have easily fit in 2 to 3 sprints max and I was the only front-end developer πŸ˜… So I'm curious to see how I'll manage.

YES! I found the Tinder style name voting pretty cool when I checked other baby naming apps and it was the first thing I took note of.

Would love to follow this, as others have said; a weekly long-form video on YouTube, with smaller less polished updates on X would work great IMO. Some inspo channels that I think do this well:
