Is Emojoe like a Peloton coach? I think the Headspace notifications are pretty effective - same with their streak feature :)
Another way of thinking about this is - when I have meditated - how can I let people know?
For example, maybe a Slack app for a team to encourage meditation. If you finish a timer in Slack, your Slack avatar automatically gets a meditation emoji for the next 24 hrs.
Just an idea! I like the problem you’re trying to solve :)
Quick update to my post! I thiiiiiiink this approach (mass emailing bcc w/ janky unsubscribed linked) can get your emails marked as spam....
I'm not positive but wanted to close the loop here!
I'm personally more of a "gardener" i.e. prefer the organic growth of a wide range of ideas ala Roam, vs deliberately planned building fit for "architects" ala Notion.
shout out to ness labs!
Grammarly is a great product for anyone who writes lots of emails. Just having it in my back pocket has reduced my writing fatigue significantly.
I just sent out a waitlist to our email today!
Here are the things I prioritize:
- easy to write and send
- looks good
That's about it!
We collect waitlist signups in Webflow.
I have a Google Sheet with all the emails.
I add the emails from the last seven days of sign ups to the sheet.
I remove any unsubscribes (collected from Google Form).
I write my update in Notion (formatting copy and pastes perfectly into Gmail)
I email through gmail in bcc

Per other people here - I like this approach because it's lightweight and fairly error proof. I'm not dependent on another system.
HOWEVER....my unsubscribe & email management process is broken. Watching this thread for other solutions.
Hope this helps!

I’ve signed up for a product like this before - check out Oyster. They ended up getting shut down, but I enjoyed it while I had it.
I think your biggest challenge will be at your price point, I would need to read at least two moderately expensive books in order for the product to be worth it.
I remember struggling to keep up that pace - I was ready to churn the subscription before they shut down.
Another thought is a much lower price point with less expensive books (lots of old famous books are now part of public domain). Even for a free book, I would pay a trivial monthly cost for a better reading experience. I’m thinking Amazon’s Prime Kindle reading bundle.
Hope this helps!
