I went today. They told me to Google "Saraswat VISA Verified" & I did create an account & login. Then they told me PayPal doesn't work with Saraswat bank. And NameCheap uses that I guess. I am thinking of opening another bank account 😂

Obviously get a non-shitty bank. Go with a private bank like ICICI or YES or HDFC

Nope, I entered everything right but doesn't work. So I called Support & she told me to inquire with my bank.

I don't have MasterCard I guess. Also, the only thing that must match is full name, right?

Billing address should also match.

From one of the creator of Bootstrap (@fat) - source (twitter.com/jashkenas/status/…)

❤️ this quote, wherein @fat talks about looking back on Bootstrap.

From “People are going to fucking love this sauce” to “Oh my god … did I just make all sandwiches taste like my sandwich?”

Meteor is good for what it already has. If you are a manager or someone who doesn't know how to code & wants to code for the 1st time then use Meteor.

Its very simple to use but bare in mind that it depends on the community packages. If you use any other framework like React on Frontend & Node on Backend then you get variety of options. I mean like 1000 different packages. You can choose your Node server like Koa, Hapi, Micro, etc..... If you want to use Express, you can use it. And there are many different alternatives to Express. With Meteor, you are limited.

Like for Node, there is NPM. For Meteor, there is Atmosphere but again most people stop maintaining stuff. And sometimes the community doesn't have packages.

So if you're not making something custom & want to make a fast MVP then you can use Meteor otherwise don't. Like if I'm making a Chat app, then with Meteor's PubSub model it will be easy & fast but I can also make it with Socket.io but it will need a lot more configuration.

But if its something complex & unique then I won't choose it because Meteor packages are different from NPM packages.

Nice answer to the point. How can I forget, software requirements are never ending. But working on something for too long bores me personally. I guess I have to get used to it. I can limit features. That would be my one-off SAAS. But do people use a software/app which isn't updated for 2 years or more?

If it keeps on solving that problem, sure, why not.

B2B always better than B2C.

Yep but this is for later. Right now its software. Also, books & courses take a lot of time bcz I don't know how to do it. I'm gonna totally copy Wes Bos for courses 😂 if I ever do it in future (maybe 1 year later or not)
