To a dumb person like me, here are the Wikipedia definitions -

A Utopia is an imagined community or society that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities for its citizens.

A Dystopia is a community or society that is undesirable or frightening. It is the opposite of Utopia.

I believe we live in between. Nothing is perfect or nothing is worse. Everyone has something good & something evil. In a 100 years, this will still be true. And same goes million years later. Each morning when I read the newspaper, there are 100s of bad things but there are also some good things. One thing my best friend taught me is look through the good in a person, remove all the negativities from that person & you'll find that person beautiful 😉

My favourite Series, Dexter is a good example of Good & Bad things in the world. So watch it, if you haven't already.

Another thing I watched recently is this video of Jaime Lannister from GOT spoiler warning, it describes very well that no one is all perfect & no one is all worse.

One consideration to keep in mind is that Utopia vs. Dystopia often depends on your place in society. Every utopia is built on the backs of a disposable workforce and all that.

One thing that kills me is Regret. So I suggest you to take the Grandpa Test.

Imagine, you're very old, sitting in a wheelchair & think about this very moment, would you regret not taking the plunge? If you're gonna regret it even a little at some later point in time then do it now. You'd be happy that you tried & failed rather than just not trying enough. That goes for everything in life. You just gotta keep putting in the work.

For example - Take a look at Gary Vee. I mean who the hell would have thought selling beers on YouTube would make you a multi-millionaire but he did it because he kept at it.

Watch Regret Is Poison because you know he says it better.

Personal story - I did it. I didn't take a job after graduating. That was last year 1st June when it all got over. I have made a lot less money than I could've by taking a 9-5 job. Still haven't made my startup dream come true. I was busy watching The Walking Dead & many other shows but I still worked on other things & learnt a ton of shit. So $0 doesn't always mean complete utter failure, it means you know what doesn't work for you. For me, watching TV shows doesn't work LOL so I reduced from 1 show / day to 1 show / week 😂

All the best on your future endeavours 👍

Do things you won't regret

I love this advice. Avoiding regret is great advice.

The question of course is which path you'll regret more. There's always something to regret about the other path and life does not as of yet allow us to A/B test.

SendGrid, Sendy, TinyLetter & Mail For Good

Great suggestions, thanks! Excited to read up on Mail For Good.

Nope. Try Paddle Support.

Thanks. I have opened a ticket.

UPDATE - They did reply but no help. Paddle does support debit cards but it should not be 3D secure/OTP protected. And this is not the case with most of the people here.

Paddle. Find some amazing insights about Paddle 👉 t.me/wipchat/324010

Paddle looks good. Very customizable, supports multiple currencies, and a good SDK. But I created my payment page and tried to pay with a debit card and it didn't work. Obviously, I was trying to sell a product and not a recurring payment type service. So do you know how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help.

Google Drive or Mega. Personally I don't use any of it that much. Used to store college assignments on Mega & Google Drive for some simple things that won't upload on Gmail (file size > 25 MB). I used Dropbox but hate to login to another site just to do that. Right now I use Dropbox for only one thing ,i.e, ButterCup :)

Yep I am confused between going full Grid or Grid with Flexbox as fallback because it also requires to change markup (HTML) as well. If it were just adding more CSS then it would've been fine 😂

Yeah, it can be annoying. Though I've just learnt to factor it in for the most part. With some of the more complex grids however I do just leave it to browser support without the flex fallback. I've literally wasted hours upon hours on fallbacks for browsers that have say 1.6% market share, there comes a point where you have to argue that the time spent isn't worth the reward.

Most people love Carrd by @aj_lkn

Another interesting one I saw which launched just few weeks ago is Landen

Note: They are by Indie Developers. There are also various others by big corporations like Wix, etc..

I personally never use any because I don't like Drag & Drop & want more flexibility in the way I design layouts so I code everything from scratch :)
