Thanks @icesofty ! I would agree on the vagueness- our buyer persona is the white collar class but it's reading too broad at the moment.

Antigua, Guatemala, Santa Teresa, CR or Puerto Escondido are my pick for you then. Weekends are a lot of fun but nothing really to do weekdays but surf, workout, hike, be healthy. All Digital nomad spots too. For anywhere- if there's a Selina, there's a workspace and they do understand how to have good wifi so it works as a good anchor/trust if you haven't been before. WIFI will be a problem if you don't do research first.

Nice, those haven't really been on my radar but I think they'd be a nice change of pace from they typical cities. Thanks for the rec's

Maybe for the illustrations draw from a funny creative writing experience you had and have an illustrator doodle a cartoon scene? Idk- i would feel like, hey this guy gets it while also letting me feel comfortable with the brand because its vulnerable.

That's a really good idea. I do know an illustrator too. Based on yours and other people's feedback, I quickly threw together some mockups today. Got a couple up on the landing page now: perligo.io

I think this is a really cool and interesting idea- at the same time, I'm worried about how much time and value we would be taking from experienced makers without bringing value to them. Advisor meetings for most charge $200+ - FYI, i'm not the experienced maker charging! Just wanted to share, I am interested and planning on finding some sort of advisor/coach to work with so this would potentially fill the need.

Hey! Creative writing minor chiming in here- I signed up soon as I figured out what this was. Really excited for your project because I've learned in the current day how beneficial it was to have writing deadlines and critique groups. It's VERY difficult to get that in real life without organizing so this loooooks dope.
My roast goes with the first line- i needed to figure out what this was and how it worked some. It says for creators but that's too broad because there is music, video, so darn much and those workflows would look different I think?
If you are set up for all those- maybe be clearer on how it works for them. If you are envisioning writers- say writers, not creators. the image doesn't tell that story right away for me and it takes the next section and reading who it's for and how it works in the last section.

@timjones Thanks Tim! Finding the perfect name (with an available domain) was a blast.
I view traveling as a self-growth hack so the first thing to ask yourself is what would you be looking for with the trip? Fun and light work load or high productivity and healthy lifestyle?

Mostly the latter - medium-to-high productivity and healthy (but hopefully a good amount of fun mixed in there too).

I got a Gold Card visa for Taiwan so I'm planning on riding out COVID there until May or June, then maybe South/Central America.

Really cool page and fun to look at how they have been doing plus adds the competitive edge and desire to post our startup and compete :)
It does feel a little broad, hard to know when and if I should post our startup. Questions that came to mind- Should we be around as long as the ones here? What specifically is measured and how is it measured? Where are the new startups?

Hi Luke, thanks for your feedback!

"Questions that came to mind- Should we be around as long as the ones here?"
What do you mean, exactly? Do you mean how long your startup is alive or published/visible on the website?

"What specifically is measured and how is it measured?"
This should be much more clear! Happy to hear this. We measure percentage social media growth. So, the fewer followers you have, the better chances you earn crowns and these are being used on the (in dev) leaderboard and used as a weight.

"Where are the new startups?"
They are all pretty new and on the leaderboard, you will be able to sort/filter on country; founded date; categories; crowns; etc. etc. I think it will become more useful and clear once the leaderboard is up and running. We are still in beta and need some startups to test and earn crowns. Since we don't have many startups listed, it will be easier to earn crowns. The more startups join the harder it becomes...just in case you want to join ;)
