I think I prefer a neutral image without them.
My question is, most makers need to eat while shipping side projects or making indie products, so where do you find contracting work?
In my case, some of my work comes from word-of-mouth from previous companies or networking I've done Some other ones I pitch to, mostly early-stage (funded) start...

I think one of the benefits of indie businesses is that customers are usually talking directly to the founder. I think it can be good to mention this explicitly, but without being a douche. I already avoid using "we" and say "I" instead.

I've added [email protected] to Gmail as an alternate email address.
I have registered [email protected] to Google+ and upload a profile image already. However when I send emails from [email protected], I go to the recipient gmail inbox and still see an image-less photo.
Help would be appreciated!
