It depends on how interested are that 50%. If they are eager and ask you about release date then the rest 50% doesn't matter at all.

If you're not 100% on the idea yourself but the positive 50% is willing to put money down, sure.

If you want to make $$$ then probably not, but if it's just a side project then go for it. Depends on the size of the group you interviewed too. And depends on how much time/effort it would be for you to make

It depends on the number of people in this 50/50. Usually a product is not for everybody. If you have a niche big enought you can still make a good profit.
