What do you want to learn/improve in 2025?

For me, my main focus will be on my ability to - focus :).

Whenever I'm reading, I realise often times I can't keep my brain focused to whatever is on the page. I can also see that when I'm working. I'm pretty sure it's caused by the short-form content apps, but I'm sick of it

Then, I'd like to work on my writing. I want to work more on my personal blog this year, and I want to be able to write more.

Lastly, this year I really neglected my physical health, so I want to hit the gym more often, and start going to yoga classes & hiking more often.

What about you?


  • I need to improve my marketing skills, I’m not very good at it.
  • I want to read more, I have about 10 books on my reading list.

I am mostly focused on marketing right now too, let me know if you wanna brainstorm together!

My backend skills, I want to learn more about building a saas from scratch on my own

Goals:

  • Work out more consistently (currently going 2x per week, needs to be 3x plus 1 cardio day)
  • Grow MRR to $1K/month through launching new products that are not "vitamins"
  • Learn Thai if I decide to stay in Thailand long term

want to take more notes and go more outside

Personal / Lifestyle / Sport

  • I want to get better at bouldering: Get to V7 or V8isch, and do one fun competition
  • I want to learn at least one asian language to a beginner conversation level: I'm dabbing between Thai, Jap, and Korean

Professional

  • Learn digital creative skills
  • Ideally manage to replace some client work with my own product/s
  • Leadership skills (startup to run and scale)
  • Automate as much as possible with AI (work and personal stuff that I don't want to do / don't enjoy doing)
  • Writing (personal blog and newsletter)
  • Health, especially getting my ulcerative colitis under control and hopefully get into remission

I want to finally learn more about AI. That's my business theme. And I would like to get my first recurring revenue. I should also do a bit more cardio in 2025.

  • Figure out GTM strategies for my Saas
  • Be more active on social media

Writing & structuring thoughts, physical health, eating habits. All of these routine-based things I would like to improve. I suck at routines, especially when nomading.
2025 will re-read Atomic Habits and re-build my routine hooks based on something meta that doesn't depend on the location.

...Or maybe just settle down and buy a house and build my routines there?

Health is my #1 priority this year, both mental and physical:

  • Go out for a walk and be outside during sunrise and sunset
  • No laptop and minimal phone time after sunset
  • Slowly reach 10k daily steps by end of this year
  • Always keep a book to read in my bedside table (and read! :D)

Second one finance:
- Actively work on paying off the credit cards and loans I have.
