Hetzner auto-rejected [SOLVED]🎉

Has anyone tried creating a personal account in Hetzner using the @gmail email and after adding CC you got this email?

I contacted Hetzner via the dedicated email for this issue, and after a few days, they replied to my email and asked for a copy of my business registration for verification. After I submitted it, in about a minute, the system automatically emailed me that my account was approved and validated.

Thank you @WIP fam and @marc

I've read about this. I think you need to sign up using a company email account.

I'll try using a custom/company email. Thanks, @marc

Sign-up using business email but still got rejected after the test payment.

There seems to also be a "problem" if you are using a VPN. Maybe that is also a reason... or your country.

I'm not using VPN but yeah maybe based on where I live also.

I provided Hide my email from iCloud and my VPS is working for one week already. I haven’t even paid yet as I'm using the free €20 credits.

Yes, same thing happened to me. I followed up and told them to review my company formation docs, I'm legit, just prefer to use gmail - then they activated me.

Good thing they replied to your email but for me nothing. I tried contacting them several times but maybe they don't allow customers from 3rd World Country.

Probably not to limit their risk. I have a US business which makes banking and a whole lot of other things easier. You might consider forming a business elsewhere

That is reasonable but then again forming a business elsewhere is one of my options but not at the moment as I have a budget constraint.

Yep, makes sense if you have a budget concern. That said, I don't like policies that restrict people from certain countries from starting a business, but you may run into this more and more. Hetzner is not the only company that does this - I've also heard of Stripe being picky for example.

My total cost to operate a LLC in the US is about $125/year and my business bank (Novo) is completely free, so it's not too expensive if you have some revenue coming in regularly.

THank you so much for the idea @ben will consider this as my alternative option.

I've heard good things about Hetzner, but also nonsense like this.

Tried to sign up to them years ago, but my card kept being rejected. Bank told me the gateway is declining it, Hetzner said bank is declining it.

They're not the friendliest for getting on board.

I agree but still hoping they will follow-up my email.

I've reached out to them to see if they have any "best practices" for joining. Perhaps there's a way to pre-approve WIP members as well. Seems counter productive for them to auto reject legit companies.

Thank you so much @marc, I already tried creating an account via personal email and business email using separate credit cards but I still got auto rejection email. But yeah maybe your contact can manually approve my account that would be great and thanks again @marc
