For what it's worth, this is how Duolingo got the most money out of me.

But honestly the biggest demotivator around here is that once you're in the top 15 or so, you ain't gonna get higher because people up there have been dragging their streaks forever and aren't going to fall off the wagon any time soon. It's essentially an irrelevant part of the scale in terms of motivation.

Publish gems? Git sub repos?

I think the "official" way is to build your own gems and have a private rubygems thing.

No such thing as user privacy against the owners of the service. That's why terms of use have clauses in them about tracking and why employees sign some lovely NDA-like things that say they will have access to private data and should they abuse this access all hell will break loose upon them.

tl;dr you can't have user privacy against someone with admin access to the DB, track away

For future reference: Lawyer has suggested licensing IP to the company is better. It does make the company worth less, but means that should anything happen to the company, you keep your IP.

  • get Kiwi from his sleep cage
  • grab phone from living room
  • poop Kiwi, mindlessly scroll phone
  • set up kettle in kitchen
  • brush teeth
  • grab boiling water, insert CogniTea
  • do something creative most days (writing, videoing usually)
  • some days have one of scheduled calls (2 masterminds, 1 client)
  • after calls, do more creative stuff if can
  • it is now 9:50am and I have to rush to work work
  • eat small breakfast at work, make more tea

It fights domain squatting. Can't afford your domain? Get it on a different TLD.

Fundamentally it's a sign that consumers are becoming comfortable with weird tlds. Mostly becuase they just click the link and don't really care what the domain is.

Drip or ConvertKit are the way to go for something like this.
