Nice! A few things:
1) Add a favicon, will help it look more complete.
2) Should be "Where is the advice coming from?"
3) Clean up spacing of with the Newsletter heading at the bottom and the surrounding emojis.
4) Go with a bright, sunny background image, and if possible a white phone, to make it look more cheery and less 'serious'.
5) Up the font a size or two on "If you like to ✈, you'll love to 📲."
Good luck!
If you're based in Ontario like me (or, like I was) then it doesn't cost any extra when registering federally to also register in Ontario. It's all explained to you during the corporation registration process. Hope that helps!
Very cool! The tool itself looks really useful, congrats on getting it out there. I do find the landing page to feel a bit unfinished. The biggest suggestion I see is to add a big fat, fun-to-press CTA button that sends the person down-page to your pricing.
Some other things I would focus on: getting all images Retina-ready (@2x - current ones look blurry to me, make sure you use PNGs across the board), being aware of getting enough information 'above the fold' (I'm using a 12" MacBook so admittedly my area for that is smaller) and using either lines or colour to organize the information on the page a little more. I love seeing just the Like thumbs up as the logo, but it also makes it seem like the app name is missing somewhere.
Making your big headline font smaller and bumping it up so the screenshots are higher on the page would be a good start. Good luck!
Don't mess with the streaks! Streaks are a 'pure' sort of thing, and I think the goal of WIP is to keep things moving for people in a build+launch phase (not so much in a chill, day-to-day phase). Right now my streak is reset and it's making me want to get it going again. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe have a 'weekend' mode where two designated days of the week don't count if you miss on those days. But I think messing with streaks will dilute the value of WIP and lead to a less effective product really quickly.
Cool concept! I would remove the 'best' from your tagline as it sounds awkward in its current spot. You could also add a hyphen so it would read: "Hand-curated remote jobs delivered to your inbox". I'm working on a similar concept but for local Toronto jobs - what service are you using for the emails, and for the paid email subscriptions? Thanks and good luck!
I got this email and liked it - clicked on a deal. Great stuff! My first main suggestion is to add the country name after the city name. I might also clean up the design just a little bit. No need to go Dribbble/Stripe with it, but perhaps a little more to communicate that it's worth the glance. Keep sending me these and I'm eventually going to buy a deal!
