Woah dude. Hold on.
You are not the one to say if your ideas suck or not. The market does.
How about you build one of the ideas with as little effort as possible (MVP) so you see if there is traction?
Usually ideas that work, work from the start.
Yes, I think I need to work on something new, and see a little bit a traction to keep going at it. Thanks!
It depends on your definition of 'requires no more building'.
Markets and people change all the time. Because of this, there will always be something that can be improved.
Because of this, it depends on where you draw the line. I have realized that I want my products to be 'done' as soon as the MVP is shipped. Then, depending on traction I continue working on them, or focus on marketing, or move on to other products.
been thinking more and more about this. there are some REALLY boring stuff that I just dont want to learn and would be ideal if someone can do them for me.
kind of like paying someone to have access to my repo and open a PR with a solution.
A good example of this would be setup zero downtime deployments on the digital ocean VPS.
I think the author wants to know how much you would be ready to pay. And how often...
PS. If you use Copilot, it does most of these things for you, if you got existing code it has seen.
This kind of tasks is exactly what I'm thinking about for makers. Around a month ago, I was organising my tasks list, and I found a lot of tasks that were maintenance, and I had been delaying them for too long. I ended up getting two developers to just clean up my maintenance tasks list. And I am thinking of turning this into a service if enough makers are interested.
you learn by doing. since you are an enterpreneur you probably have lots of ideas you want to work on.
don't try to learn how to build them because by the time you will start building on something, you will realize that you barely need any of what you thought you needed on the first place.
I haven't come across any 'pending todo' feature, so I don't think I would miss it.
I only use
/doneon the telegram bot and scroll the post on the site to see what people are up to/have accomplished.Yea, it's somewhat unintuitive to access it - you have to type out the todo then uncheck the green checkbox if using the website (unsure about telegram, I don't use the WIP bot on TG)
