How do you work on a daily basis? What apps do you use for tasks, planning, budgets, projects?
ship quickly, ship cheaply, ship smartly. i am planning on writing something on this, so that i understand what that means. will link here when it is done. no ETA, just yet.
take a break, write the problem down and make a list. do something fun. return to the list, scratch out all unimportant stuff and get a bit of momentum going.
Have used a spreadsheet for years. Moved to Billyapp last year - which has been fairly good and helps to see a big picture. Now moving to the HR and accounting system that my bank provides for "free", as part of a business account. Mostly because that makes me tax compliant. Biggest mistake I have ever made was not having a system for taxes in place when I started being self-employed, and now making a transition to products. So hoping I get all of this correct, before I launch and try to make sales.
I do not really have an answer. In theory, I should be focusing on "must haves" versus "nice to haves".
Start with why it matters, and what the end goal is and add constraints - due date, budget, other resources. Work through steps and find a reasonable due date.
i think the key weakness of lean methods of finding product market fit is that it extends the time to market and is very costly for bootsrapping companies. i speak from experience. so for me, i am hoping that the problems i have and the means i use to solve them, resonates with more people. and if one idea fails, i will not have spend a ton of time and money, so i can test another.
Monthly if I am trying something new. Otherwise, always annual. And even better "lifetime"
I do not have any credit cards or any interest based financial services, but Nerd Wallet has a design I like for a comparison website. www.nerdwallet.com/.
There is this little community called WIP - they provide awesome feedback.
