A great effect of a sabbatical is clarity: Today I defined the merger of stolenvoice tv and IGTV to become one show (one format) and only to published once a week (Friday) instead of daily IGTV (Mon-Fri) and weekly stolenvoice tv (Fri). Also, I'll use stolenvoice.blog as the place where I'll write the full-text article whereas stolenvoice.tv/ followed by the episode number will lead to the IGTV episode directly. Also, I'll be using my third 4 hours of my 12 total productive for either studiolist.io or music-making. #hip

Day is still not done (stolenvoice tv 29 still due) but at least the lesson 1.5 of the freewritecamp.org masterclass is out *puh* - made an extra effort to write short sentences in the "Hemingway" style (using Hemingway Editor app) #hip

had first day of practicing voiceover daily - voice was a bit „in a bucket“ (in German it makes sense to say it ^^) #stolenvoice

after a day off because feeling sick-ish and slight ear-pain I had an extended session today (but focussing only on style of delivery to perfect it) with a new recording setup: Sennheiser MKH 416, Pop audio pop filter, Shock mount by Rycote and Focusrite 2i2 mixer - is another level. Also I gave my recording environment a bit more room while still treating it with acoustic foam. #mictime #stolenvoice

what a weird day: started with day job direclty, didn't the the MIT (most important thing), then voiceover-related webinars, then more day job hours, then weird 4.5-hrs nap until 1.30 am, then wrote + recorded stolenvoiceIGTV (took almost 3 hours) and wrote my thursday truth in the GFTB community for another almost 3 hours. Life = weird? Yes. #hip

walked 1.8km 🏃 - time: 16,5 min - average speed: 6,55 km/h - remarks: I was a minute faster (hmm… maybe I didn’t stop the time well yesterday, anyway). It was good to have gotten up today and do the walk directly followed by priming. It’s right now the best to start the day because I feel in control of the day which always puts me in a better position. Also, I reconfirmed to myself that the point of me being in the voice/voiceover industry is reach a professional level that enables me to realize my own projects like the animation film I’ve been having in mind since summer 2013 in Rome and the pop song that I want to do with an exotic and fresh, young voice. #health

walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,5 min - average speed: 7,23 km/h - remarks: I was walking faster than yesterday (almost 1 minute), and it was because I was shifting from being tired when I started walking (I had just got up) to „I have an idea how to make my new voiceover business work“. So, when I returned to my room after the walk, I wrote, set up a sign-up form, published three new posts and 4,5 hours later I was done. That was one of the most intense 4,5 hours that I had not planned at all for the day — but this only happened because I was walking outside (I forced myself to walk although I was tired) and let my thoughts flow. So, I invested 4,5 hours into what was not planned and but it felt to be the right things. Today’s „/done“ tasks will reflect that. Also to be noted: When you have ideas you move/walk faster. Head needs body, body needs head. And one needs movement to stay mentally in flow #health

finished editing and post-processing part 3 of the London voiceover conference 2018 footage - took longer than expected because I got picky / "perfectionistic" by adding more sound effects and smoother and more intentional transitions - it became a little film again 😉 - now exporting the file and uploading after - also got a little distracted from the editing work because I heard the Zoom H5 picking up the Canon G16 focus motor sound quite a lot - the Zoom was attached to the shoe mount of the camera with no audio absorber, that's why. So during the editing time I improved my vlogging setup by attaching both the camera and the mic seperately to the grip and tripod. Should work better. #stolenvoice

Excellent talk with Hugh Edwards today. Key outcome: I was procrastinating to finish the demo reel and shipping a ready-to-use version of studiolist.io. With the new Plan-Result accountability, I'm planning to change that. #hip

After yesterday's rewriting and some exercise recordings of the German script I sent the final recording. Curious to see what he thinks. I know there's always room for improvement but at the moment that's the best I can deliver in German #hip
