Imo the best GUI tool for psql is datagrip. When I switched to datagrip from pgadmin I never looked back. Unfortunately it does not have free "community edition" like intellij but AFAIR you can still use it for free if you can tolerate restarting it once an half hour because of not having a license.

Thanks Marc, I was looking at that. Thats where I downloaded my psql. Was playing around TablePlus and Sequel Pro
