What newsletter tool is the go-to tool nowadays?

I am familiar with Mailchimp and convertkit, but what are the good new ones?

beehiiv without a doubt. It's been a delight to use

in case you'd like to get 20% off (if you planning to use the paid plans), you can use my link: www.beehiiv.com/?via=saas-sun…

I am using buttondown and happy with it.

What are you trying to do with it? What's your ecosystem look like?

  • Just newsletters?
  • Automated emails?
  • Monetized content?
  • Community to grow your list (like other creators referring you)?

I go with ConvertKit (now just Kit 🙄) because I run my membership through Mighty Networks, and they have a near native integration now. It's worth it to save those Zapier costs using a different platform. And I need automated email marketing. But that's a very specific use case that may or may not apply, depending on how well built-out your brand ecosystem is.

If you let me know what, specifically, you're looking for (even just features) and what the rest of your business looks like, I'd be happy to recommend services.

If you need it inside the code/project, resend.com is pretty cool.

For more like marketing/personal newsletters, I love how easy substack.com is.

substack where i don't need much integration or workflows - just a plain newsletter. it's free and the UX is great.

i've been using SendPulse for a decade but no one seems to have heard of it 😂

Free for first 500 subs, after that $8/mo

The market keeps being dominated by Mailchimp.
One of my clients use Sendy, it works great and it's cheaper.

I use MailerLite. It's a bit crap tbh, UX very old looking. But has free tier and cheap afterwards.

I used "Mailjet", it's pretty good and not expensive but as with many "dominators", the UI is pretty terrible and it's not developer friendly.
