Interested in virtual coworking with fellow wip members?

tl;dr: Join us in here for silent coworking -- https://workfrom.com/@it4rt7 or grab a friend to mastermind with in here -- https://workfrom.com/@o3i75k

Hey, everyone, I have an account with Workfrom where we can all cowork. I typically save these spaces for people in my membership to offset the cost, but I think it'd be pretty fun to create dedicated spaces for wip members too.

I'd have silent + talking rooms, so it wouldn't be distracting either. :)

If that's something people are into (and if ☒ is cool with it), I'll happily create the spaces and share links here.

Edit: Here's the space I typically reserve for my membership members. Drop in whenever. It's open 24/7. It's not as flashy or interactive as some other options, but it's a quiet space to focus.

Work out loud (brainstorm, mastermind): https://workfrom.com/@o3i75k

Both are open 24/7, but you'll want to plan time with others to get the full value of the mastermind space.

Sign me up! FYI time zone might be an issue since I'll be in GMT+7 for the foreseeable future but I’m down to try it anyway

My natural circadian rhythm is typically GMT+8 (except during the worst of the winter right now, and I'm back in my local GMT -7 to get sunlight). Plus, I'm a workaholic, so I'd be in there a lot.

The great thing about the one I suggested is that it's open 24/7 and people can filter in and out whenever they want. It's not a strict time.

Here's the room if you'd like to join: workfrom.com/@it4rt7

It's the one for my membership members, but I'll keep it the same to keep costs low.

Sorry I missed you! I had a couch being delivered and was trying to wrangle my kids through the process 😂

All good - I just hopped on for a second before realizing I had to run to some dinner plans. I'm traveling the next few days but I'll hop on when I next have a chance!

Sounds good! I'll likely be in there and see you when you're in next time.

Cool idea! Timezone might be an issue but i'm down.

I'm in the US, but my schedule is all over the place, I'm a workaholic, and I mostly live on Western Aus hours, so I'll be there all the time 😂 The cool thing about the one I suggested is that it's open 24/7 and people can hop in and out when they want.

Interested. What do you think about www.gather.town as an option ?

I'll check them out! The biggest thing is that it'd need to be open 24/7 so people can filter in and out when they want + it'd be available even when nobody else is available to cowork right then. Since we're all over the world, we couldn't have strict gathering times.

(I know for sure Workfrom does this, but I'll see if Gather does too.)

I just looked at their pricing plans. The free version is limited to 10 people, and then it starts at $70/month to add any more (pay per user). As a single mom, that'd be a reckless financial decision, unfortunately, and I wouldn't want anyone else to absorb that cost either.

wow, I didnt know, they are that expensive. thx for the research and yeah the cost is far too high for independent folks!

Update: Here's the space I typically reserve for my membership members. Drop in whenever! It's open 24/7. It's not as flashy or interactive as some other options, but it's a quiet space to focus.

I love the concept! I will probably join in one of the next days. GMT+8 here

I didn’t expect so many people work with a GMT + 8 time zone here! Thought I was the only one (as usual) 😅

California, Oregon or Washington? Or Vancouver/western Canada?

So I'm in GMT -7 (in SLC but used to live in Seattle), but I have Western Aus hours because my brain doesn't know what is even happening ever 😂
