Ah yes, that's true. For old photos you'd have to use Google Photos app on your phone. It can import your whole library.

what i do is download all photos from icloud github.com/ndbroadbent/icloud… (this download and delete photos free icloud storage) to a directory. Then use google photos sync to upload the photos ...

@z0dman - problem is that I don't have enough space to download all of them :D
