walked 5km 🏃 - time: 42,75 min - average speed: 7,02 km/h - remarks: Super confused in my head I was before the walk; after I now have more clarity. Not having dumped my thoughts for more than 4 weeks clearly shows that stuff has aggregated in my head. Not happy about it but working on improving it. One outcome is: I hope to concentrate on building things (products, stories, books, etc.) rather than serving people through my services. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 40,25 min - average speed: 7,45 km/h - remarks: exceptionally fast today. Again blue sky, sun out there, cold but with sunshine and blue sky cold is not so much a problem. Based on the walk I came up with the idea for 2 drafts of blog articles (one related to life being a maze („amazing“ ^^), not a mess; and the other related to how to actors should consider auditions — both articles are about perspectives.) #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,5 min - average speed: 7,24 km/h - remarks: knees both feeling fine; thought a lot about soccer and outdoor sports in general. Defined that soccer and hacky sack I would do as an OUTDOOR activity and voiceover and tech as an indoor activity because I remembered thanks to the meeting on Saturday with the formerly good friend of mine that this was what we did: Play soccer outside and be on the computer (programming or playing) inside. That was fulfilling so I’ll try to replicate that and transfer it from the 90s to 2018. #health
walked 1.8km 🏃 - time: 16,5 min - average speed: 6,55 km/h - remarks: I was a minute faster (hmm… maybe I didn’t stop the time well yesterday, anyway). It was good to have gotten up today and do the walk directly followed by priming. It’s right now the best to start the day because I feel in control of the day which always puts me in a better position. Also, I reconfirmed to myself that the point of me being in the voice/voiceover industry is reach a professional level that enables me to realize my own projects like the animation film I’ve been having in mind since summer 2013 in Rome and the pop song that I want to do with an exotic and fresh, young voice. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 43,75 min - average speed: 6,86 km/h - remarks: one of the slowest fast-walks so far though I liked the mental bridges I had created during the walk (potencial/potency = close by legs, energy = arms, thinking = head) that served as 3 shortcuts to remember my thoughts and write them down back in the house #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,25 min - average speed: 7,27 km/h - remarks: Fantastically cold again. No clear thoughts only some fragments like how one of my best friends just (literally) mastered his studies with a 1,0 in his final colloquium. Awesome! And I went through some random scenes in my head where I would play a certain character. Character play and identity research gain more popularity in my world, it’s fun and fascinating to play with roles, stereotypes and character types. But the danger is to get lost in a character, if you don’t reset yourself regularly - I’d assume. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 42,5 min - average speed: 7,06 km/h - remarks: nope #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 42,5 min - average speed: 7,06 km/h - remarks: nope #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 42,5 min - average speed: 7,06 km/h - remarks: Had two quick ideas that I noted down after the walk, the walk itself was fine. Knees felt smooth and my legs were still under the „used“ influence of my HIIT session on Tuesday (two days ago) *nice* #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,25 min - average speed: 7,27 km/h - remarks: was mostly thinking about the meeting tomorrow with good old friend of mine (from primary school) and how much fun it would be to challenge myself to speak a decent British English accent within 7 days and having a fake interview or something to see how British I could sound #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,50 min - average speed: 7,25 km/h - remarks: walking was 1 minute slower mainly because head was heavier with thoughts than yesterday, wasted literally hours because I did let myself distract by a request of a potential client for consulting although I only offer consulting as part of freewritecamp (and that works pro bono). Also learned that „rsync“ doesn’t ask for permission to overwrite existing folders, it simply overwrites. That makes the transition from one web server to the other no longer a finished task - I could have checked before but instead I assumed it would be working like a user-friendly GUI works *ätsch* it doesn’t. Lessons learned: Know what destination you’re aiming at. If consulting work is not your focus right now then don’t let it become a thing. Also, double-check how a terminal command that you don’t know works and test it in the sandbox before you apply it in the real world. Apart from that my knees are ok. I feel the daily 5km walk is doing good them, though I observed that my legs adjusted to that little workout and the muscles start to reduce already - will want to add more workout time in the day (having a plan, only need to execute it and make it habit I stick to) #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 44 min - average speed: 6,82 km/h - remarks: nope, only that I invented 3 new characters/identities to add to my character library #health
walked 1.8km 🏃 - time: 16,75 min - average speed: 6,45 km/h - remarks: Got not real tranquility and calm in my head after these 16,75 minutes. Among others thought about how to implement identity research into my work routine and whether or not to reduce my mic time to Monday-Friday only since I have other things I want to work on as well besides my voiceover career. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 41,5 min - average speed: 7,24 km/h - remarks: Though tonight was colder than yesterday again it felt better to walk since the refreshment effect is much better. I’m fantasizing about a sunny place where the climate still allows refreshing temperatures. New Zealand winter (Mar-Aug 2009) was when I had that kind of mix of sun and fresh air - 14 degrees Celsius that felt like mid-20s. Awesome! Today was a good full working today of VO only - I started the day with voiceover and ended it. In between I did the „day job“. Also my fake meat balls turned out fine twitter.com/Naii/status/96353… #health
walked 1.8km 🏃 - time: 5,76 min - average speed: 18,75 km/h - remarks: Good evening walk with many thoughts like ending my regular life rhythm and changing it in 2019 - I made a promise (also to myself) that I’ll change that and come close the life and person I want to be - time of today’s includes bringing the garbage out. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 47 min - average speed: 6,38 km/h - remarks: took old clothes to clothes collection (Humana), met old soccer colleague (and talked) and created the „donkey bridge“ (Eselsbrücke) „stolen-focus-death-2go“ to remember what I thought of during walking and take notes after when back at the computer #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 43,25 min - average speed: 6,94 km/h - remarks: walked directly after I returned from cleaning job - so I was physically tired obviously #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 42,75 min - average speed: 7,02 km/h - remarks: some pinching in the right knee (probably due to cold weather), came up with the name for a new project to list sound recording studios for traveling voice artists like myself #studiolist #health
barefoot walked 1.8km 🏃 - time: 20 min - average speed: 5,40 km/h - remarks: Extraordinary weather, good mood and sunshine. First day of filling the 5-minute journal. Only in terms of what I got done not that nice. #health
walked 5km 🏃 - time: 40,5 min - average speed: 7,41 km/h - remarks: sunny day - noticed: walking first thing in the morning clearly affects my mood (or in other words: I let the lack and presence of the sun influence my mood because I’m in control of it). However, having the sun outside while walking 5k clearly makes the the beginning of the day easier, especially because it’s an accomplishment in the morning after getting up felt more like a pain („getting out of warm bed with cold air in the room due to window open“ pain); Had the thought: The challenge is to keep up with the routine while not making it a boring experience. Had another thought: My life in exaggerated notions: Teens (10s) = the weird years, Twenties (20s) = the „drunk“ years though I started drinking with something around 22 (late), Thirties (30s) = the serious years. Though exaggerated it’s accurate. Over and out. #health
