What accounting software is the easiest for solopreneur / small team ?

Right now I just use my custom made Airtable for every aspect in my business. But would like to explore more cases for clients. Checking out quickbook and Xero at the moment. Native integration with Stripe would be great. Thank you in advance

My bank's built-in software lets me tag transactions with categories (sales/expenses/etc) so I just do that every month and then export a CSV at the end of the year for my CPA to deal with (it includes the categories I've tagged)

Hey Ben, thank you for the help. I hope we got one like that in Thailand xD. Mine was super clunky. Need to use workaround by using Make.com to get all the receipt in my Email and paste it in Airtable.

Hm, yea, not sure about banks in Thailand - my business is based in the US

Just Google Sheets 😬 But I've used Quickbooks in the past and it's very simple and intuitive.

Thanks Carl ! I'll go check it out.

I use wave apps. I can export CSV from my bank statements and import them into wave quite easily.

I think it's best to use something local, at least local to where you're paying taxes. The reason is that they'll know your tax code best, and have likely direct integrations to submit your tax reports. Unless you want to get a CPA to do all that for you as well. 😉

I use Hello Bonsai because I send proposals and invoices + track my sales cycle there, and there's a direct integration with Stripe.

If you're not a freelancer/service provider, it wouldn't be as worth it for you, though. But if you are...I've got an affiliate link floating around.

I've used Quickbooks Online. Pretty good, but feels like old software these days. I wish there was a Linear for accounting. 🤔
