How do I connect my telegram to WIP?

I have all the other checkboxes ticked off but when I try and connect to Telegram it takes me to a bot. Using the bot doesn't link back to my account in anyway and I can't check the onboarding box off.

Please help.

Try to start @wipbot manually using the "/start" command and follow the link it sends to you

/start just responds with

"I can help you stay productive and ship more frequently.

You can use these commands:

/todo - create a new todo
@wipbot <tab> - mark an existing todo as completed
/done - create a new todo and immediately mark it as completed"

If I then try /todo then it tells me I need to sign up. I click on the link and it takes me back here.

very confusing.

Hi Josh. If you go to wip.co/telegram when signed in on the website, it should walk you through everything that's needed to connect your account.

I'll see if I can make the messages from @wipbot more clear.

Oh one last thing. When you following the link to @wipbot, you'll need to click the "Start" button at the very bottom of the screen. It's easy to miss, but it's there.

I wish Telegram made this button more obvious, as you're not the first person to run into this issue.

No, that didn't do anything :(

Not an issue though. It doesn't look like there is anything happening on Telegram anyway, it's just a bot. I have no use for that. Is there some way I can get rid of the onboarding checkboxes though?

Oh there's a very active group chat on Telegram. I highly recommend checking it out, but it does require your account to be properly linked in order for it to work.

I can't find your Telegram account, but would you mind sending me a message? t.me/marckohlbrugge – I'll help you troubleshoot there.

Thank you. Really appreciate the help. Sent you a message.
