Honest Feedback please?

I have just launched a new video conferencing app for teams ( https://cogency.io ) to make standups/scrums easier than it had been. (1-Click video team conference, etc...). I have a free plan so anyone can try it out!

I would love to hear some feedback ( harsh or otherwise ) as long as it is honest!

Some questions that come to mind
  1. Is the service missing any features?
  2. Would you ( and/or your team ) use it? Why or why not?
  3. How is the video quality compares to other services like zoom, webex, etc...

I WOULD LOVE to hear any feedback/comments :)

Thank you!!!!!

Hello,

While it looks good what is blocking for me is the signup. I assume all team members need to create an account? At my dayjob we already use GSuite so Google Meet is what we use. It is greaet because we can just paste a link into the slack chat and everyone can join immediately.

The thing is, I kind of want and need a link because there are people on the team that maybe join only temporary and don't need to have an account.

Is the service missing any features?
Maybe if one could not share a meeting as a link?

Would you ( and/or your team ) use it? Why or why not?
Probably not, because of the signup.

It looks like a perfectly fine app, but you're in a highly competetive space with giants like Microsoft, Google, Zoom and Slack that you are kind of competing with. I would probably advice you to find some specific angle. Encryption and privacy immediately comes to my mind since Zoom is the only one that claimed e2ee but that was debunked and they can probably not be trusted.

Also Google Meet is completely free afaik so it would be kind of hard to convince the managers to switch to a paid subscription only because of the privacy stuff since that is more of something I care personally about.

Best regards,
Markus

+1 for: It is greaet because we can just paste a link into the slack chat and everyone can join immediately.

@santas_dev @wiprobert That functionality already exists. ( see attachment ) However, I still feel its much easier to just login and click a button than copy/paste the link in slack
