Hi, I'm Shashank

What are you working on these days?

Pages on Pages (Launched) - A site that finds the cheapest place on the internet to buy a book

Codugh (Launched) - A pay-per-call API marketplace

Branches - A mobile app that helps you connect with people in your apartment building and surrounding area

Hacker Knowledge - An extension that fins the context of a web page, including sentiment powered reviews sourced from forums.

What can the WIP community help you with right now?

I'm looking to engage with people and learn from everyone's knowledge and experience.

At the moment my biggest weakness is the marketing side of things. I'm actively working at improving that, but if anyone has any ideas on how best to market Pages on Pages or any of my products, that would be much appreciated.

What can you help others with?

I've spent several years in the startup space. I've worked as a product manager, software developer, tester, cyber security specialist, digital marketer, and business development manager. I have also followed more traditional startup paths and raised money from VCs and companies.

If anyone needs any advice on the above topics, or someone to be brutally honest about your business ideas, I would be more than happy to help.

Something else you want to share?

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better.

HI Sashank! Welcome to the community.

Regarding the marketing question, I can highly recommend the book "22 Immutable Laws of Marketing".

The title sounds super boring, at least to me, but I promise you once you start reading you can't put it down. It's a great introduction to marketing and hopefully gives an insight in what it is, and how it can be an enjoyable part of being a maker.

Thanks Marc, I'll give it a read.
