finding SEO tech (blog) writers

Hi guys, maybe I've asked this question before, but does anyone know where could I find tech writers that are specialized in tech subjects like; networking, proxies, linux, development, programming?

So I'm looking for someone who knows those subjects in depth, and I wouldn't mind paying high rates for it. I know a lot of devs, but those people aren't that interesting in writing blogs.

Thanks,
Tom

I wrote a few paid articles on dev.to, the startups directly approached me for that. Maybe that works?

ah so just pinging writers directly works too? So how does the intellectual property work? Jonas, do those articles "belong" to that site or to you?

Honestly never checked, I think the content still belongs to me. If I wrote for other customers, they had all rights to it. I think they also modified it and posted it somewhere else.

I contacted journalists who display their "portfolio" on this site: muckrack.com/beat/tech

You can find that they regularly feature in magazine, columns, etc. which can help if you want to find tech writers of that caliber.

Hey Tom, a few questions:

  • Why do you think devs are interested on it? Maybe a skill issue? IME as seniority increases they are more likely to share their expertise (i.e: staff engineers / architects are always kin to write).

  • What's your definition of depth and hight rates?

yes, maybe they would be a better fit, so someone who can write about networking proxies, dns, https, sftp, haproxy, nginx, linux etc...

I specialize in SEO article writing, but more for B2B martech & edtech. In a pinch, I've gotten really obsessed with topics to be about to write on them, though.

If you need the articles soon and you haven't found anyone else, I'd be happy to talk with you about it more. :)

I think tech leads and project managers might be more willing and capable of writing good articles. They’re used to writing a lot anyway

could be, but I've never met an PM who was that good in cloud and coding stuff....
