Best day/time to launch on ProductHunt/HN?

What's the best day of the week to post in ProductHunt? At what hour? Same for HN. Is it better to ask someone to hunt you or to hunt yourself?

The most common time that people suggest is 12 AM Pacific Time (Product Hunt local time) on the day you want to post. This gives you the most time to update, interact with people, etc.
